Tri-State Women in STEM Conference

Join us for our biennial conference at Southern IN Career and Technical Center/ New Tech Institute High School on May 5, 2017! The conference provides local networking and professional development. It also serves as a fundraiser for yearly STEM community outreach activities for girls in grades 4-12. The key note speaker is Kelley Mustion. Kelley Mustion is the Education Manager for the Army Marketing and Research Group where she oversees the Army’s education and outreach initiatives. She works to ensure students understand all of their post-secondary options and opportunities – highlighting STEM relate fields. Along with Kelley, there will be a panel of female Army soldiers sharing their experiences, too. Their message: “Life Can’t be Lived unless You Serve” will focus on the importance of volunteer service and the importance of STEM education. There will also be (2) workshops. Leah Perry will lead discussion on networking skills and a special guest will host the leadership development workshop. We are looking forward to seeing you there to get inspired to lead in STEM!

The cost is $50 and includes the conference, lunch, snacks and a 2 year membership to twiSTEM.
