As part of CoWork Evansville’s 2nd Tuesdays at Innovation Pointe, University of Southern Indiana’s Eagle Innovation Accelerator in conjunction with Elevate Ventures will be providing a workshop on “How to Pitch”. This workshop will last approximately one hour and consist of networking, a discussion about the anatomy of a pitch and insights into what venture capital investors look for on the receiving end of a pitch!
Entrepreneurs are scrappy and realize that raising and making the most of capital is their lifeblood. Some have learned that perfecting their pitch gives them the inside track to the ever-growing pool of capital available through pitch competitions, while also preparing for future discussion with funding sources. In southwest Indiana alone we have two pitch competitions sponsored by USI (Start-up Weekend, BIZCOM), INX3 which is a statewide competition, Current Blend sponsored by Elevate Ventures and without a doubt more to come. There is no better opportunity to gain insights into perfecting your pitch!
