#TechSocialEVV 1.0 Erik Deckers Illuminates Content Marketing

Event Details

  • Date:

After a successful soft launch for our new #TechSocialEVV initiative in December, we are excited to announce the official kickoff event in the new year.

On Wednesday, January 15, at 5:30pm, we will be hosting Indianapolis-based social media power-user and author Erik Deckers at the Tin Man Brewery. He will be coming down for a special joint visit for our group and the American Advertising Federation – Greater Evansville chapter, where he will be speaking to them at a luncheon the following day.

We are very fortunate and excited to have him visit with us. With his experience in writing and distributing compelling content for websites, books, social media, and other channels, he has a wealth of knowledge and insights on what works to create an audience for your content and keep folks engaged. If you are looking to upgrade your own brand and develop a more compelling message, you don’t want to miss this event from a world-class wordsmith.

Here’s Erik’s official bio:
Erik Deckers is the president of Professional Blog Service in Indianapolis, a content marketing agency that serves clients throughout the United States. Erik is the co-author of Branding Yourself: How to Use Social Media to Invent or Reinvent Yourself, and No Bullshit Social Media. His latest book, The Owned Media Doctrine was released in August 2013. Erik has been blogging since 1997, and has been a published writer for more than 26 years. He is also a newspaper humor columnist, and is syndicated in several newspapers around Indiana. Find him at http://problogservice.com/erik-deckers-speaking/erik-deckers-blogger-speaker-social-media-consultant-author/ or on Twitter at @edeckers.

This is a FREE event, but we have limited seating at Tin Man. If you are unable to keep your RSVP, please update it appropriately through Meetup. Please support our local brewery by ordering a drink or some food during the event.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
