Five years ago Tech-on-Tap launched with the goal of connecting people in the innovation ecosystem of Southwest Indiana. Our first event, held at Smitty’s Italian Steakhouse, featured a pitch by Indiana startup  Localstake. 

The Localstake  platform helps founders analyze financing options, connect with investors and close impactful growth funding all in one place. 

Five years later Localstake and Tech-on-Tap are going strong!

As part of our celebration we are bringing Localstake co-founder Ryan Flynn back to fill us in on their journey and update us on their product evolution.

Ryan will have a great general interest story AND will bring critical insights about how innovation based startups are getting funded.

More About Localstake

Localstake began operations in 2013 and was founded to address the issues created as small business financing becomes increasingly unavailable and driven by outdated technologies while interest in and importance of local small business and entrepreneurship continues to grow.

Since then, Localstake has worked with more than 125 companies in various capital raising advisory capacities and has helped raise over $6 million for 25+ small businesses while developing its technology and underwriting platform over the past few years.
