It is not just the idea, it is the team! Teams are formed around the most voted ideas on the first day, so you can contribute to the business idea that inspires you with your knowledge and experience. All are important in Startup Weekend. Starting on Friday with the turn of “open mic”, attendees are invited to submit their best ideas live in one minute and entice other participants to join their team. After hearing all ideas a vote among the participants is to choose the most popular ideas, and people who have submitted these ideas will have the responsibility to team up with other participants depending on the needs of your idea. On Saturday and Sunday, the teams design and shape their startup with the help of mentors and facilitators to finally develop the business model. On Sunday evening the teams present their ideas/prototypes to a panel of judges and the top three ideas are selected as winners of the event. Be a part of the empowered social innovation movement.
