Newburgh ‘s Quarion Technology introduces ATLAR-5D Precision Positioning System

Event Details

  • Date:

GPS is everywhere and we take for granted how easy it is to find or track anything with siteline to GPS satellites. The fact is there are many compelling reasons to be able to track the position things inside of building and GPS just can’t do this.

Aric Pryor is an electrical engineer with more than 20 years experience solving big technology problems. In 2003, he successfully formed an automation solutions provider, Matrix Design Group, LLC (Newburgh, IN), and pioneered its Proximity Detection System, triggering its purchase by Alliance Resource Partners, L.P.  Matrix became an industry leader in Mining Technologies and continued development of Proximity Detection Systems and Tracking Technologies.

At his new startup, Quarion Technology, they are putting the finishing touches on a powerful indoor real time precision location system and analytics platform. The initial target market is warehousing safety and optimization.

ATLAR-5D using Ultra High Bandwidth technology is capable of recording an object’s 3D location, with centimeter precision, thousands of times per second. This capability has many applications including: Machine/Machine (think forklifts) and  Worker/Machine collision avoidance. Product locating in warehousing. Materials / Machine operator movement optimization.

Join us as Aric explains the technology and the product they are introducing.

Doors open at 5:00, pizza out at 5:30, presentation starts at 6:00

As always – Free to attend and you are welcome to bring up to 5 guests!
