  • Date:

Bring your lunch and join us visiting with our guest Garry Krum as he outlines strategies to build value in companies. Building value is a fundamental duty for management and directors in their service to shareholders. This outcome does not occur quickly or by chance but rather by the exercise of deliberate and diligent strategies.

In 2001, Garry conducted an in-depth study of over 100 acquisitions done by 5 public high-tech companies. This study, along with his 35 years of corporate development and acquisition experience has formed the basis of his Value Aligned Management methodology.

Garry has over 35 years of business value development experience as Managing Director of Krum and Company, Inc. a merger and acquisition advisory firm; Vice President for two Silicon Valley semiconductor capital equipment companies – KLA-Tencor and Asyst Technologies -where he was responsible for the development and execution of the companies’ Merger and Acquisition strategies; and Assistant Managing Director of Drexel Burnham Lambert’s M&A practice. In addition to the United States, he has managed deals in Japan, Taiwan, China and Europe.

Mr. Krum has been an instructor at the Colorado State University School of Business and has lectured and spoken widely on Entrepreneurship, the Art of Business Acquisition and Corporate Finance. He makes his home in Fort Collins, CO with his wife and two sons and enjoys hiking, climbing and skiing the great Rocky Mountains.
