We will have a roundtable discussion allowing participants to discuss ideas regarding data science within the Greater Evansville area. The goal is to identify strategies to increase the footprint and awareness of data science in Greater Evansville identifying strategies to utilize these technologies for the betterment of Evansville (business, education, government and non-profits) as a whole. A second goal is to brainstorm how to make data science more accessible to technical workers, businesses of all sizes and all other potential stakeholders.

Our events are structured to present a use case for data sciences which is presented from a non-technical perspective followed by a technical discussion of the tools and techniques used to implement this case. We always reserve some time before and after the presentation for informal networking. Our events are ideal for those unsure of how or why to use data sciences and create an environment where you can meet folks with skills to help you use these tools to solve your needs. For data scientists, our events are a great way to expand your knowledge, meet others practicing in the space and perhaps pick up projects for fun or profit.
