Today’s Story: Update on Community Changemaker Challenge


Event Format: We’ll hear from two of the finalists just before the final pitch competition broadcast July 11th on WNIN. Hear from:


Small City, Big Eats submitted their description for Common Grounds: “Small City, Big Eats is a food account/blog created by two young people trying to show what Evansville has to offer… one meal at a time!”

Culture Fest is a festival that includes all cultures and its goal is to provide an inclusive place for people to ask questions, try new things, and go past their own biases. The problem with other festivals in the areas is their superficiality. Culture fest would not be limited to food, performances, and cultural clothing but have panel discussions that inspire deeper discussions such as racism.


7:30 a.m. – Door Open, get your cup of Evansville Coffee Company coffee


8:00 a.m. – 5 minute or less story highlighting something innovative, entrepreneurial or simply positive happening in our community.


9:00 a.m. – Party’s over –  but you are welcome to continue conversations in the Innovation Pointe lobby.


You are welcome to come and go at any time.
