Brad Wisler pitches Bloomington based PERIODIC

Event Details

  • Date:

Join us for our next meetup featuring Brad Wisler introducing his latest startup PERIODIC. Brad who also co-founded SproutBox, has started and run many technology businesses. Brad co-founded WorldView Multimedia in 1998 an in 2001 founded Resite Information Technology. He served as CEO and General Manager of Resite from 2001 to 2008, when he negotiated the sale of Resite to Dominion Enterprises, Bloomington’s first multi-million dollar internet software acquisition.

PERIODIC is the first e-booking platform-as-a-service and a leading provider of online booking solutions. E-commerce infrastructure for sale of goods has evolved to enable online purchase of virtually any good with access to real-time inventory. Infrastructure for online purchase of online services has lagged behind, primarily due to its complex dependency on scheduling of the resources necessary to fulfill those services. Periodic enables real-time inventory for online service transactions through a powerful API, a family of self-service online booking products, and deployment of custom enterprise booking solutions. Periodic creates and publishes service inventory via whitelabel online booking systems and a powerful API. In the same way that inventory software enables e-commerce for goods, ScheduleThing enables real-time booking of services by aggregating schedules for the resources these services depend on. Business rules for specific providers and services combine with resource availability to create real-time service inventory.
