Today’s Story: USI MAGIC House
The University of Southern Indiana unveiled a unique, prefabricated Minka house at a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, October 24. This house is the first of its kind, is the culmination of a year-long pilot project titled Multi-Ability, multi-Generational, Inclusive Community (MAGIC) and is being funded by USI, the USI Foundation and supported by AARP (formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons). Event Format:
7:30 a.m. – Door Open, get your cup of Evansville Coffee Company coffee
8:00 a.m. – 5 minute or less story highlighting something innovative, entrepreneurial or simply positive happening in our community.
9:00 a.m. – Party’s over – but you are welcome to continue conversations in the Innovation Pointe lobby.
