In the first of an upcoming series, University of Southern Indiana’s Eagle Innovation Accelerator in conjunction with Elevate Ventures will be providing a workshop on “How to Pitch”. This workshop will last approximately 1 hour and consist of plenty of networking time, a discussion of the anatomy of a pitch and insights into what Venture Capital and other audiences look for on the receiving end of the pitch!

Entrepreneurs are scrappy and realize that raising and making the most of capital is their lifeblood. Some have learned that perfecting their pitch gives them the inside track to the ever-growing pool of capital available through pitch competitions, as well as prepares them for future discussion with Venture Capital and other funding sources. In southwest Indiana alone we have two pitch competitions sponsored by USI (APPCOM and BIZCOM), INX3 which is a statewide competition, Current Blend sponsored by Elevate Ventures and without a doubt more to come so there is no better time than to gain insights into perfecting your craft!

Come join us on Tuesday, December 12 in the USI Innovation Lab on the second floor of Innovation Pointe for pizza and insights into how to effectively sell your innovation. We will announce future topics at the event, as well as make them available here.
