The Makerstation’s open hours will now be on Thursday nights. This will coincide with individual implementation night with the MakeCourse participants.ÃÂ This meetup is open to everyone who has projects or is interested in being part of a maker community.ÃÂ
The MakerStation will focus on building communities around emerging technologies in a workshop which brings access to tools like CNC milling and 3D printing.ÃÂ
Our MakerSpace is membership based but on Thursday nights we will be throwing the space open for the curious to test the waters. You can be part of guiding the development of the future of the space.
ÃÂ The makerspace will not limit what medium people decide to pursue (except for safety reasons), but our primary focus will be on small electronics and desktop prototyping. Other opportunities and equipment will be decided by the members. Anyone can work as long as they sign a waiver (parents’ consent for those under 18).ÃÂ
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This is event is FREE and open to all.ÃÂ There will not be food or refreshments served.
Makers should bring their own consumables (solder, Pi’s, etc.) We do have a boneyard. There are some old computer parts that can be used for your projects.ÃÂ
Entrance Doors to Innovation Pointe lock at 7p.m.
