Evansville’s co-working space has been in beta use for several weeks and is set for public roll out mid-March. We have a really exciting concept to share at this Java Jumpstart.
Tech on Tap member and Launch Fishers founder John Wechsler in collaboration with the State of Indiana is leading an initiative called Launch Indiana. http://launchindiana.org/
Launch Indiana supports the critical connection of Evansville’s Innovation Ecosystem to a much richer statewide ecosystem.
The concept includes a “passport” which will give co-working reciprocity throughout the state. Imagine the value of being a member of Evansville’s co-working space and being able to work or schedule a meeting at co-working spaces in Indy, Bloomington, West Lafayette, Jeffersonville, Terra Haute and other cities. This takes collaboration to a new level and opens exciting avenues for innovation startups to access the incredible physical and human resources sprinkled throughout the state.
As is becoming increasingly common, Launch Indiana also puts Indiana on the innovation map nationally.
ISBDC State Director / OSBE Executive Director, Jacob Schpok and Mike Langelier CEO of TechPoint, Indiana’s technology growth initiative will be joining us as well.
